Today in reading we talked about stems, form of a word before an affix is added. Above is an example of the graphic organizer used to define the stems. Students who have Duffield or Kruger for Reading will have a weekly quiz of the stems that we study.

Homework:

ELA: Finish you personal narrative you started today in class about a special place OR write a new personal narrative using your special place map- Due 9/12/17
Reading: Stem Quiz on Monday, September 18th and stem organizer due 9/15/17
SS: Geography packet due 9/12/17
Math: Mr K- R & P (pg 6) #3-4
