In Language Arts today we discussed strong narrative writing strategies. We analyzed a 6th grade writing sample and identified strategies. Some of the ideas we came up with: precise word choice, creating a movie in my mind, dialogue (not too much), metaphor/simile, and internal dialogue. We will used these strategies to assist with our writing and reading next week.

Reading: Bring your realistic fiction book and notebook to class
Science: Looked over class materials and defined ideal science ideal learning community- NO homework
