Today in ELA we created a thesis statement about our protagonist's main character trait. First, we wrote one together with our mentor text and then students reread their short story and started this work (see above). We will mirror our ELA school AND Home work for the next writing genre; literary essays. Today, we reread the short story and that is also their homework for their home short story. Next week we will write a thesis statement for our school story and homework will be to write a thesis statement for their home short story.

In SS, students are working on in-class group projects for the 4 Mesopotamian Empires which we will be presented on Tuesday.
