im, in	Not, having a negative force	The candy looked delicious, and the impatient girl was having trouble waiting in line. The inexpensive cookies ended up tasting just as good as the cookies that cost $5 each.
mid	middle	Midnight is the middle of the night. Midday is the middle of the day.
mis	ill, mistaken or wrong	The misprint on the handout made the word impossible to read. The team ran the wrong play when the players misheard the directions from the coach.
multi	many, much	MULTICO is a performance group from West High School that is made up of people from many different backgrounds. If you win a multimillion dollar jackpot, you’ve just won many millions!
non	not, absence of	Reading the nursery rhyme again, the student realized it was all nonsense, or a story that really didn’t make any sense. Please don’t bring nonessential items, or items you don’t need,  to class.
over	beyond, too much	The gym became overcrowded when the elementary kids had to join in with the middle school kids. Yeah, her room wasn’t clean, but she still thought her dad overreacted when he screamed as he opened her door.

Above are the Latin Stems from this week. We started The Boy of the Painted Cave, we analyzed a site map, and we started to discuss the responsibilities of having 1:1 devices.
